Blackwing pencils are iconic! Their roots go back to the 1930s when the 602 model was first introduced by the Eberhard Faber Pencil Company. The production of pencils was discontinued in 1998. However, they became so popular that fans started paying as much as $40 for a single Blackwing pencil. As a result, these classic pencils were re-introduced in 2010 by the Palomino brand.
The limited edition of the iconic pencil is inspired by the Maillard reaction – the moment when ingredients begin to brown and flavors become more intense. At around 140 degrees Celsius, a series of complex chemical reactions occur, transforming food into a form of art! The Blackwing vol. 140 is a tribute to this remarkable transformation and the culinary arts. Each stainless steel-colored pencil features medium-hard graphite – perfect for jotting down ingredients or sketching plating ideas! Made from cedarwood, Blackwing pencils offer exceptional comfort and top-quality performance. Their distinctive feature is the replaceable eraser, which allows you to add a personal touch to each pencil.

Before buying a gift card, please read the following information:
- The gift card remains valid for 2 years from the date of sale. Not using the gift card within twenty-four months results in it becoming void.
- The gift card cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
- The gift card must be used in a single transaction. If the full value of the card is not used, the Issuer will not refund the difference.
- Goods purchased with a gift card cannot be returned.
- It is possible to exchange the purchased goods for another product. If the gift card holder chooses a cheaper product as part of the exchange, the Issuer will not refund the price difference. If it is a more expensive product, the gift card holder is required to pay the surplus resulting from the price difference.
